Born from the heart of a traditional heybe, once made to carry belongings on journeys.
OBA is crafted from the central panel of a vintage handwoven heybe, preserving its original colours, texture and the subtle traces left by time. Each imperfection is part of its history, making every piece truly one of a kind.
Its name comes from oba, the traditional Anatolian community that lived, travelled and shared life together.
The heybe once carried the necessities of the journey.

Materials & Craftsmanship
All our bags are individually handmade, one by one, using 100% handwoven vintage textiles that have been carefully repurposed into new designs.
As we exclusively use authentic vintage materials, natural variations in colour, texture, weave, and signs of previous use may be present. These are normal characteristics of vintage textiles and should not be considered defects.
Due to the handmade nature and age of the materials, our bags may not have the uniform or flawless finish of factory-produced items.
All bags are fully lined on the inside to provide additional structure, protection, and durability.
