Konak takes its name from the traditional Turkish mansion, where every woven textile had both a purpose and a story. This piece was once part of a vintage carpet, most likely placed in the entrance of a home to welcome family and guests. Over the years, it witnessed countless footsteps, warm welcomes, and everyday moments before being thoughtfully transformed into a timeless bag.
Konak bag preserves the beauty and character of the original carpet, giving a treasured textile a new life. The rich patterns, natural variations, and signs of age make each piece truly one of a kind. All our bags are individually handmade, one by one, using 100% handwoven vintage textiles that have been carefully repurposed into new designs.

Due to the handmade nature and age of the materials, our bags may not have the uniform or flawless finish of factory-produced items.
