Named after the Turkish word for violet, a flower that has long symbolized quiet beauty, resilience, and grace. Like the flower itself, this piece doesn't seek attention, it reveals its character over time.
This carpet was once part of a home where everyday life unfolded gently. Perhaps it rested in a quiet sitting room, where afternoon light filtered through the windows and conversations lingered over tea. The delicate floral motifs scattered across its deep indigo field were never meant to stand out, they were meant to be discovered.
Time softened its edges but never its spirit.
Today, that same woven story lives on as Menekşe. No longer beneath footsteps, it now travels beside them, carrying fragments of a past that continues to bloom in a new form.

All our bags are individually handmade, one by one, using 100% handwoven vintage textiles that have been carefully repurposed into new designs.
